today blogsome, next what

It seems that blogsome is banned by China.

From this morning I’ve kept refreshing the url: www.blogsome.com but only got the can’t-visit error. And in the www.newsmth.net some friends discussed about it then came to the conclusion: blogsome is banned by China, or the blogsome banned all the IP of China. The latter guess’s possibility is surely less.

I just want to find a place that could let me write freely which supports anonymous visit and comment (it’s important for convenience). And more important is I will not be afraid if the blog space will be unvisitable tomorrow.

I’m seriously considering to create a blog server by myself. Because now I have the access to the company server which has a static ip and is suitable for this.

I can’t visit blogsome again and it’s the second time…

If this continue to happen I will consider moving to some new place.

Maybe build up by myself is a good idea?

Absence from blog

I’ve flied more than 5000 miles in the past weekend. That’s the main reason of my absence from the blog.

It was said the dormitory in the university will be taken back by Jul.10 at the latest, so I have to take a short trip immediately. Last week after compare for some time, I booked a out-and-home ticket from Hangzhou to Xi’an.

The other reason is simple: I’m a little lazy:) In fact if I want, I could finish the blog by the Treo650 when I was waiting for the plane. It was 3 or 4 years ago since I took a plane-trip last time. There’s some change from then: the forehead time is shorter, now 45min while 90min ago. But even my return plane’s time is 21:45 I still had to take the 18:00 bus to the aerodrome, because that’s the last one and after that you must get there by taxi. Thanks God I have Treo650 with me and I can read novel, play game, enjoy music… The time past by so quickly.

I cleaned up all the things in the dormitory and got 11 packages as a result. That’s really a egregious number.

When I was at home again I felt very tired and got into deep sleep soon.

Keep healthy

For the people like me, who are sitting inside big building all the day and apart from sunshine, it’s somewhat difficult to keep healthy.

When in the university, there are so many sports waiting for me. Normally I played table-tennis or badminton every 2-3 days with my roommates. Our skill level is nearly same :) And sometimes my classmates called me to play basketball. That’s still not all — I always had swimming myself, about 1000 to 1500 meters on time.

After came here, the only sports I have is badminton. The place is the top of building, at floor 17, a room with glass. We call this weight-reducing room. In fact the effect of weight-losing is extremely good; you even needn’t to do any exercises. Just sitting, you will feel the water inside your body is running out. Every time after I played in it, my clothes were fully wet with sweat.

Meeting puzzle

I attended a meeting today and found something puzzle. It’s about “the law of electronic signature” which will be widely used in the future. The law is very new (start to use from Apr.1 2005) and the technical detail is interesting.

But it seems the people sit besides me even pay no attention to the meeting. The only thing they do is to applaud the person who just makes the lecture one by one. What are they doing then? Hehe, some are reading newspapers, some are making calls, some are chatting, some are even sleeping… I’m sure you will not think they are in a meeting if haven’t been told before.

How could it be? I think it’s because the meeting itself is too annoying. In fact if needed the person can tell clearly and finish the lecture in half an hour while he use 2 hours instead. So you can imagine there are too many useless words.

For me, after I read the documents I get before the meeting, there are only several points I need to listen and try to understand. But I still have to stay here, sitting, for a whole day. It’s such a waste!

It’s the situation of meeting in China, everyday, everywhere. I call this, meeting puzzle.

How do you think about it? Is there anyway practicable?

Take care of yourself

Last night I received sad news: one of my grade mates in middle-school took his own life several days ago. He is not my close friend but still a animated boy. In junior middle-school we had even been neighborhoods for years. In my impression he looks like a scholar and always with glasses.

I’m always thinking in what situation, one would make the decision of self-murder. I think they just be addlebrained for a while. But the result can’t be changed anymore.

I named this blog “No more in heaven” before a friend in MSN (she’s a prayerful Nazarene) told me the one who self-murdering can’t enter heaven. In fact any religion tells people no self-slaughter.

Give them several minutes to think carefully, maybe the great mass of them will give up. But in many cases they are not kind enough to give even one minute to self.

I should be so thankful to everyone, my parents, my families, my friends and myself. All of you are the strong support to prove the value of me :) It’s such a happy thing I can write blog freely everyday.

Take care of yourself, my friends.

Rest in weekend

Should the blog be written everyday include weekends / holidays? Many people like Wang Jianshuo think so and he has even been insisted on writing blog since 2002, EVERYday, never pause. In fact I respect and somewhat admire him. But I didn’t and won’t do the same thing. For me, blog is just a stage in which I can show myself and share what I’m thinking with you. It should not be the burden.

In the past weekend I spent time with my family, especially with my two grandmother(I don’t know how to distinguish them in words — one is my father’s mother and the other is my mother’s). They both are nearly 80 years old and without heavy illness. Health is always the most important thing than wealth. I wish all my family live happily.

I even live without internet in weekends. But it will change the next month because I order a mobile plan by which I can use my Treo650 to surf the net. And maybe I will make some short posts then.

BTW, Treo650 is really a wonderful thing :)

Do you have stock?

From Jun.8 many people who bought stock have began to smile, which had been disappeared for a very long time.

The remarkable time is 11:04 Jun.6 2005, Shanghai A-Stock index dropped into 1000.

stock1000

That means China stock market step back to the start point after 10 years’ development. All experts said the value of China stock has been heavily underestimated. Just a half of Microsoft is equipollence with the sum of companies in Shanghai A-stock. That’s unbelievable!

Then the change happened. Billions of RMB flowed into the stock market(it’s said about 30billion) and pull the index higher and higher. And many good news, information and rumor were spread abroad…

I found everyone be exciting and even crazy. It let me think of the days when China stock market has just been formed. People spent several days to stand in a line, just want to get the chance that can buy some new stock.

In fact I want to do something, too. It’s very unhappy to see all others are busy talking about the same thing you don’t understand. But I’m sure I know nothing about stock. So I use about 3000RMB to buy some fund. That means I think the stock will be bullish in the next days. And I wish the fund company can earn some for me:)

Hangzhou’s subway 5-year plan

Finally, the Chinese government permitted the subway plan of Hangzhou, my hometown.

That means Hangzhou will be the 4th city which has subway after Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.

Hehe, found myself have fallen into the Cretaceous. After I wrote the sentence above, I searched in Google and Baidu, then discover that there’s always six cities have subway. Beside of the three mentioned above, Tianjing, Guangzhou, Nanjing and Shenzhen are the members of subway club, too.

And something is interesting: I’m not the only one who think only 3 or 4 cities have subway. So many people have made the same mistake:) From the other side, it proved we always focus just the small point in front of out eyes. Maybe I should look at the mountains faraway and the sky to find the beautiful life. ( A old but great song by “Ace of base”, I love.)

OK, back to the subway. In the next 5 years, Hangzhou will complete the #1 and #2 subway-line (#1 will cost 15 billion and be about 50km). And the next #3-#8 will follow then. The expert say it can afford 20% of Hangzhou’s traffic.

Hangzhou\'s subway plan

I’ve been to Shanghai and Beijing and found subways are both playing great part in the two cities. Yes the both cities are crowd now, but maybe they will be completely jammed without subway. Shanghai’s subway is comparatively more modern to Beijing’s. It’s clear inside and you can always see LCDs playing all kinds of beautiful ADs.

Beijing’s subway has been built for a long time. So in some lines (#1 and #2) you even can not find air-conditions in it but many many large electric fans. It really surprised me when I entered it for the first time.

The other change which the subway plan will bring to me is living fashion. I have a house property where I need to take about 90 minutes to arrive(It’s too long for me). And it’s said the subway #1 will set a station beside it. As a result maybe only 20-30 minutes:)
