Why Treo650?
It’s the 4th year since I own first pda Sony clie s320. Before decide to buy it I downloaded an emulator and then experienced nearly all the software I could find for 2 months. Because before this I had never used a real pda but some toys like WenQuxing which are very popular in the students. The price of s320 was about $180 so have to think cautiously.
When I took the small spirit from a friend(he was in US and brought it to me, I’m really thankful to him), I realized I’v made a correct decision. I installed dozens of software into it, day and night. Hehe, it’s a crazy time:)
Before long I used all the usual software and was a professional in some friends. In the next years I changed some models: S320->N700->Vx->SJ30->TT. They are all Palmos PDAs, Vx/TT are products of Palm, the others are Sony’s. TT is the first OS5 device I used and its speed surprised me much.
I’ve used some WinCE devices (now called PPC) but found though their interface are much more familiar to us (like Windows we use everyday) and the hardware configure are higher. But their speeds are even much slower… I couldn’t bear this so I returned to Palm.
Maybe I would use TT for a long time if it’s not stolen in the bus. The TT and a 256m sd card cost me over 2000rmb
Then I met Treo…
I’ve been heard of Treo for months in a forum called Hi-PDA in which there’s some Treo fans like Uglee and nomad. Because losing my TT, I was so eager to have a new one. After some days I bought a Treo90 which is not with phone module but has a wonderful hardware small keyboard. For the first time I found the input with key is such a great experience and quickly loved it. A friend introduced Treo180 to me then. Although it has no color LCD and can’t use any storage card to expend, it’s a really palm-phone. The SMS by it is so convenient and I even enjoy it (of course not when I see the bill).
Then Treo270 which is similar to Treo180 but has a color LCD.
Then Treo600 which is a OS5 palm-phone.
Now I’m using Treo650, the wonderful one. It has the best LCD in PDA history and the fast CPU and the quality-good camera and… In fact it’s very difficult to describe such a thing just by words.
You can see that after I bought my first Treo then “Nothing could change my love to you”
Why Treo? Why not have a classic PDA and cell phone? I can just say you can’t imagine the convenience to get the two become one. Take a photo or movie, find the contacts, and send an MMS… It can be done by one Treo650 in seconds. Enjoy music, play games, look for dictionary, keep accounts… What can’t be done?
Always Treo.
