Want to start an English blog
Hehe, this would be a little difficult for me, I guess:)
After Receiving more than 10 years English education and pass the CET-6 ( a general English test for Chinese university students, you must pass CET-4 before get your bachelor degree), I still feel afraid to use English to express what I’m doing and thinking… Do you think it’s something sad? Classic English-education in China can just produce thousands and thousands of students who can easily get high score in test but can’t use it freely.
The idea of starting an English blog has been in my mind for several days. After visited Wangjianshuo’s blog and read some articles in it, I finnaly finally decided to go. He’s a young man living in Shanghai and has kept writing English blog for 1000 days. I think I can do the same thing:)
I know there must be many mistakes in this article, maybe in logic maybe in grammar maybe in spelling. So, if you notice it, please kindly point it out.
I’m thankful to every comment. And, if you, my dear friend, have been here for even one second, let me know:)
I’m looking forward to share my life in Hangzhou with you.

It seems roz is just at Hangzhou now.
It’s some muggy these days.
How to you think about the Westlake?
Comment by iamcj — 2005 June 13 @ 1:35
yes, you were right! i was in HZ on the 13th..in fact, that’s the day i went to xihu. don’t worry, the weather was lovely and breezy and i enjoyed my day out..had a nice boat trip on the lake and the boatman was remarkably co-operative.
in fact, on the evening of the 12th, i went on a walk and found a lane selling local food..near the Zhejiang Uni of Technology. i talked to a couple of students - very friendly.. and tried some street food - very yummy! a most enjoyable experience for me and my friends!
we all loved Hangzhou and i agree that u are very lucky to be residing there!

hoho, it seems you had a good time here:)
talking about the boat in the westlake(xihu), I guess you had been asked to put on an lifesaving coat?
It’s because about one or two months ago, a group of tourists had a boat trip in westlake and played crazy, then the boat turned over… two of them sank into the lake…
So after this everyone are asked to wear the lifesaving coat. no matter if you can swim.
Comment by iamcj — 2005 June 21 @ 1:03
er…wear a life-vest? nope! none of us was asked to wear one. in fact, i didn’t see a single person wearing it….anyway, the lake was calm that day and it would have spoilt the mood of the boat trip.
